Lisa Lisa Performing Live for Miami-Dade Teachers

Recording artist Lisa Lisa, formerly of Cult Jams, is bringing her voice and energy to Martini Bar on Wednesday, August 6th at 9PM, where concert-goers can spend the evening dancing to Lisa Lisa’s hits from the 80’s in this support concert for Miami-Dade school teachers.
Whilly Bermudez, the event entrepreneur, adds his support to Miami-Dade teachers.  Mr. Bermudez is a candidate for the hotly contested Miami-Dade County Commissioner seat in District 11.  Understanding the importance of education for our present and future society, Mr. Bermudez’s platform includes support for the school system and its teachers and scholastic programs.  “Our children must be given the tools they need to succeed, and must be taught how to use them so that they and we can flourish as a society.  Adequate education for our youth means lower unemployment, a lower incidence of crime, and prosperity for the community.  We cannot let our children and their teachers down,” stated Mr. Bermudez.

With this in mind, Mr. Bermudez is looking forward to hosting this concert event, where he hopes to meet and talk to local teachers, who will participate in the event.
